🚨 NORTHWEST INDIANA — PLEASE REPORT YOUR STORM DAMAGE! 🚨
Whether you had major destruction or what seems like minor damage, please take a few minutes to report it through Indiana 211 Damage Reporting.
🏠 Roof or siding damage
🌳 Trees or limbs down
💧 Water intrusion
⚡ Damage related to the storms or power outages
🏚️ Structural damage
🚗 Property damage
🛠️ Even damage you have already repaired or plan to handle through insurance
PLEASE REPORT IT.
Why does this matter?
These reports aren’t just individual complaints — they help document the overall impact of the storm on our communities.
Indiana 211 damage reports are used by local officials and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security to help:
• Determine the extent and estimated dollar amount of damage
• Establish the overall needs of affected communities
• Determine the next steps in the disaster-recovery process
• Help communities meet thresholds for disaster declarations and potential relief funding
📢 If only the worst damage gets reported, the numbers do not accurately reflect what actually happened to our community.
Your home does not have to be destroyed for your damage to matter.
Your insurance status doesn’t change the importance of documenting the overall impact either. Every legitimate damage report helps create a more complete picture of what our area experienced.

The more accurately our community’s damage is documented, the better officials can understand the resources and assistance our area may need. ❤️🩹
