Proud moment today while leaving the grocery store, an older gentleman stops me to ask as he looks at my license plate. Are you the tree people? My response: yes sir! Older gentleman responds: you do a great job! Sometimes it’s the little things that go along way. I know we do great work but to hear it at random times from random people lets me know we are having a positive impact on the community as a whole! Thank you to everyone who takes the time out of there day to write reviews and or just tell someone that they are doing good!

Winter is a good time to check bare tree and shrub branches for canker disease. Look for localized, sunken, slightly discolored or dark lesions on the bark of trunks and branches, or as injured areas on smaller twigs.

You can carefully remove the affected parts of twigs or branches several inches below the canker infection with proper pruning techniques. For more information about how to identify and treat canker disease: bit.ly/428Kjv6
