We recently had the opportunity to improve an already lovely kitchen. We were tasked with keeping the theme of the 1950's kitchen but bringing it into the 'Now' - which means all of the things a modern kitchen must have. We began by opening the stairway and taking care of the basics like adding plenty of outlets. Then we updated the cabinetry, the countertops, and the lighting. We added LED under cabinet lighting- Perfect for well lit work areas. As part of a much larger project the kitchen also now has a great exhaust range hood; anyone who cooks understands this is essential. And there's so much more!

Our NE Portland Kitchen Remodel is about color. Color. A client once told me to take a chance, let the color happen. Cast off the safe shades and light tones, the pastel blues and grays.
