Meet Tavia Douglass, our Designer here at M.R. Brewer!
Tavia has been an integral part of the M.R. Brewer team for the past 12 years, joining the company in 2014 as an Architectural Drafter. Drawing on her background in interior design and extensive experience in high-end kitchens and baths, she recognized an opportunity to expand the services we offer and has since built our full-service Design Division from the ground up.
No two days look the same for Tavia. Her week may include meeting with clients, visiting job sites, collaborating with team members, presenting design concepts, reviewing new inquiries, and exploring the latest products and trends at trade shows. From selecting finishes and paint colors to overseeing project details, she plays a key role in bringing our clients’ visions to life.
One of Tavia’s favorite aspects of her work is the relationships she builds with clients. She enjoys getting to know them personally, understanding how they live, and collaborating with them throughout the design process. She also loves the creative side of her role—those focused moments in the office where she can turn on some music and transform ideas into thoughtful, functional, and beautiful designs.
Tavia is excited about the future of the Design Division and the opportunities ahead. With continued growth and exciting new projects on the horizon, she looks forward to expanding the impact of design within the company.
Her goal is simple: to create spaces that reflect each client’s personality and lifestyle while ensuring their home is both highly functional and a beautiful place to live.
