Let's briefly discuss the upcoming heatwave and its potential impact on your home's HVAC system. It will likely experience its most strenuous workload since last year. With a significant 20-degree temperature difference between outdoor and indoor temperatures, such as 90-95 degrees outside and 75 degrees inside, your system will be working diligently to maintain a comfortable indoor climate. With this in mind, it would a good idea to set your thermostats a couple of degrees higher than normal to keep your systems from being overloaded.

It’s only Tuesday but it’s been a week already. Just taking it ond day at a time. 2 bad heater kits, 1 bad breaker, supply and return replacement due to a cat in the crawl space.

PSA if you have experienced power outages/power surges your thermostat has a 5min delay before it will tell the unit to come back on when a loss of power has occurred.

If you have a heat pump unit, leave it on emergency heat until you have verified/cleared any ice off of the fan of your unit.

After these steps have been taken and your unit is still not heating, give me a call. We are out and about.

With this winter weather on it way in just a couple tips.

Clean and fresh air filters

Heat pump people (ICE AND SNOW) will build up on the outdoor coil and fan if not switch to emergency heat once the precipitation has started.

With all this said. I’m saying this if your home is staying warmer than 60 degrees your system is doing its best.

Stay safe ,warm and inside.

We will be out working and doing our absolute best to get you taken care of!
