McWhorter Electric participated in the Patriot Day Parade in Gregory. Patriot Day is observed to commemorate the lives of those who died on 9/11. Monte and Lisa McWhorter, David Miles, Paul Spiegelhoff, Robbie Hedrick, Tyler Monney, Weston McWhorter and Leon McWhorter.
