Looky!! Looky!! Who turns 50?!?!

Did you know that Perdue Trucking is celebrating their 50th year in business?!?!

Perdue Trucking & Excavating started in 1976 by (James) Ronald “Ronnie” and (Sarah) Maxine Perdue here in Portland, TN. Ronnie was the foreman and operator of all the construction projects, while Maxine ran the day-to-day business of the office.

Ronnie and Maxine wanted the company to be a family business, so when their son , (Ronald) Steven "Steve" Perdue was 12 years-old they had him help with some of the construction projects between school, sports, and farm chores. At the age of 18, Steve became a full-time employee and worked with his father and mother until their passing.

Today, Steve and his wife, Beverley, own Perdue Trucking, and have grown it since Steve took over in 2019. Steve remains the foreman and operator and has continued to operate the Company for a second generation, keeping Perdue Trucking local to the Portland area. Their goal is to keep Perdue Trucking a family business and keep it going for a third generation.

Perdue Trucking specializes in installing and repairing septic systems, waterlines, underground electric, sewer systems, and driveways, as well as hauling rock, topsoil, and sand. The Company also specializes in excavation work for private residences and the city.

We want to SINCERELY thank all of our customers, suppliers, and employees for your support and confidence!
