We just completed this backsplash featuring Absinthe Trapezoid Zellige tile by Zia Tile.

The beauty of zellige is that no two pieces are exactly alike. The variation in color and glaze creates a surface full of movement and character.

The Laurel Manor & Rose mosaics are a commissioned project we just completed at the main entrance of the art deco-style Laurel Manor building in NE Portland.

Apprenticeship is an essential part of developing the next generation of tile installers.

Getting young people involved in the trades and letting them know there are other options besides going to college is a challenge as our industry deals with a shrinking workforce. Programs like this are a big part of the solution.

Architecture students at University of Nevada, Las Vegas are designing and creating custom tile mosaics that will be featured at Coverings 2026 in Las Vegas.
