We’re stepping into the future of landscape management with our new Kress autonomous mower. 🌿⚡️

This technology has the potential to change how our crews work—handling routine mowing so team members can focus on the detailed, skilled work that truly sets D7D apart.

We also see real benefits in reducing physical strain over the course of a long season, while creating cleaner, quieter, zero-emission maintenance powered by electric technology instead of gas.

As robotic equipment becomes more common, getting ahead of this curve keeps us strong for both our clients and our team.

Sometimes the biggest transformations aren’t about adding more—they’re about creating clarity. 🌿

Our team saw the potential and reimagined the layout into a space designed for this family to play, gather, and enjoy for years to come.

Fresh lawn, defined planting beds, updated pathways, and layered plantings completely transformed the feeling of the backyard—while still leaving room for the landscape to grow in and become even better over time. ✨

If your outdoor space feels unfinished or underused, we’d love to help you reimagine what’s possible.

Plants weren’t just added to this space—they were designed into it.🌱

From day one, we partnered with the project team to make planting part of the architecture—not an afterthought.

Every detail was intentional—from the integrated planters to the layered planting design, plant selection, and palette.

The result is a space that feels alive, finished, and purposeful. This is what happens when plant design is brought in early.

If you’re planning a space, bring us in at the beginning—we’ll design it right the first time.

Sean’s got a few Spring pet peeves… and honestly, he’s not wrong 👀🌿

First up — perennials coming in. Just because they’re small doesn’t mean they’re weeds! We’re seeing them get stepped on or broken, and even worse… not protected. Slugs, deer, and rabbits are already doing damage. If you don’t get ahead of it now, your plants can be wrecked for the entire season.

Next — bamboo on property lines 🚫
If you have bamboo, you have to control it. Left unmanaged, it spreads fast and becomes a problem for you… and your neighbors. The fix? Dig a trench (bamboo hates exposed air) or install a 3–4 ft deep barrier. Trust us — don’t be that neighbor.

And lastly — Euphorbia. Beautiful? Yes. Low maintenance? Not always. Some varieties spread aggressively and can quickly take over. Plus, that milky sap is a skin irritant — so be careful when pruning!
A little awareness now = a lot less maintenance later 🌿

We didn’t redesign this garden—we revealed it. 🌿✨
👉 Swipe to see the transformation

Under the overgrowth, moss, and years of buildup…
there was already something beautiful here.

Our team stepped in to:
• Clear out overgrown beds and open up the space
• Deep clean pavers to remove moss + restore joints
• Redefine pathways with steel edging and river rock
• Refresh soil and mulch throughout
• Replant with structured, low-maintenance plantings

Now the garden feels open, intentional, and ready to thrive again.

This is what a thoughtful cleanup can do—bring the original vision back to life.

Thinking your space needs a reset? Let’s bring it back.

Sean’s Straight Talk is back.🎙️
This week our Director of Property Maintenance is out on properties, pointing out a few commonly overlooked details that can make or break your landscape.

• Why skipping edibles means missing out — like creeping raspberry, a beautiful groundcover with berries your family will actually enjoy.
• How proper rejuvenation pruning can completely transform a plant — just like this Rhody that came back thriving after being cut down from 15 feet.
• And why regular pest and disease checks matter — this azalea is dealing with lace bug, a common issue many landscapers simply overlook (we don’t).

Great landscapes aren’t just about how they look on day one — they’re about how they’re cared for over time.

If you want a team that notices the details and protects your investment, we’re here for you.
