Fun fact, part of my process is that all of your pets spend some time as my Lock Screen
I’m so grateful to every one of the orders i get but commissions just feel so special and personal.
A collection of SOME of the pet portraits Ive done over the last month.
Being full time is kind of crazy, and these have really become my bread and butter.

She’s here! My sleepy squirrel print is finished and I could not be more excited to reveal it fully to you.
This is my favorite print in a long time and I know you’re gonna love it too. This one was actually a request from threads and boy Am i glad I listened be side i really think I smell a new hero product.

It was just such a warm environment the owner is such a peach. There are still prints on display by myself and the other artists that attended their art night. So drop by, you won’t regret it and know that I’ll be jealous.

Ive been a little cooped up.

Being an artist looks different when you’re a mom.
Staring at a blank page is the best way to never draw anything. I haven’t seen a totally clean piece of paper in years.
My brain works best with restrictions. Boundaries within wich I can play and problem solve. The limited medium and color that I use is entirely intentional because it allows me to focus silly on the design and how I can execute it within the rules. Like a game.
My kids are just as much a part of my art practice as the the block I carve. They are a brick wall my creativity butts up against and works around.
My creative time and space is squeezed into the shape of what I can accomplish.

Printing Day! Restock of the Annie alley cowgirl print is live! These ones go really fast so I’d hightail it over there.

I just upgraded my hand press and it’s totally changed my life! I’m like a machine woth this bad boy and it’s really got me thinking. I should start a printing service.
It’s common for people to commission me for wedding stationery and even logos and recently a whole business card but I don’t have a way for people to order more professional prints of their commissions. Self portraits are not something I do. But I thought now was a good time for a few reasons.
1. Ive wanted to advertise more than just pet portaits. My website will soon feature self, couples, and family portraits! I’ve done plenty of each but having a separate landing page will make everything more clear.
2. Ive changed a lot since my last self portrait. We’ve bought a house, Had a whole other kid, and Ive just grown so much in my professional and artistic practice. It almost feels like I’m drawing a whole different person tbh.
3. Speaking of change, goodbye CrabFruitCo. Hello, Dying Art Prints! I’ll be making another post soon about why and what’s coming for the future. But ultimately, my website, brand, and business got a makeover so I needed a new PFP 🤭
