🌿Planting Day! 150 Native Plants, One Big Step Toward a Climate-Resilient Backyard!

Yesterday, our Blessing Landscapes crew installed around 150 native plants at one of our projects, helping transform this backyard into a thriving habitat for local wildlife!

With the goal of achieving Backyard Habitat Gold Certification, the homeowner teamed up with his architect neighbor to design and select native plants suited to our Pacific Northwest environment. They partnered with us to prepare the site and bring their vision to life!

We love collaborating with homeowners, architects, and designers who share our passion for bringing nature back into our urban landscapes. 🌱

Our team is Backyard Habitat trained and listed in the Backyard Habitat Certification Program's professional directory!

LET THERE BE LIGHT!
Last night, our Blessing Landscapes team had an illuminating experience at our landscape lighting training workshop! We explored the latest innovations in lighting design, fixtures and smart technology that open up exciting new possibilities for outdoor spaces!

As the days get shorter and fall and winter settle in, landscape lighting does more than provide safety and functionality. It extends the use and enjoyment of our outdoor spaces long after the sun goes down!

One of the coolest things we explored? Color-changing lighting! Beyond the traditional warm, inviting glow, we can now add a splash of color to set the mood for Halloween, the holidays, or any special occasion! 🎃🎄Even better, everything can be integrated into a user-friendly app, allowing homeowners to customize and control their outdoor lighting right from their phones, whether they're relaxing at home or vacationing halfway around the world!

At Blessing Landscapes, we're always learning, exploring new technologies, and sharpening our skills so we can bring the best and most innovative solutions to our clients. The possibilities are endless, and the future of landscape lighting is looking BRIGHT!

Ready to light up your own backyard? You'd be amazed at how a simple lighting upgrade can transform your outdoor space! Contact us to schedule a consultation and explore the possibilities!

We’re honored to be an award winner! Blessing Landscapes was recently named the 2026 Oregon Home Style + Structure Awards winner in the Landscape Design category for our Hoffman Project! 🌿

Last Thursday, we joined talented professionals from Oregon’s interior design, building, and landscape industries at the awards ceremony. It was especially meaningful to celebrate alongside our wonderful client, interior designer Caryl Hoffman, whose outdoor & interior space inspired this award-winning transformation.

A huge congratulations to the Blessing Landscapes team who brought this project to life: Jesse Brough – Lead Designer, Richell Chiu-Yap – Design Associate, Dave Dillon – Project Manager, Juan Puc, Ricardo Puc & Ricardo Robles – Landscape Technicians

From design through installation, this project was truly a team effort. We’re grateful to Caryl for trusting us with her landscape and proud to have our team’s work recognized alongside the incredible talent in Oregon’s design and building community. Grab a copy of Oregon Home Fall/Winter 2026 issue and see our project in print!

Congratulations, team! 💚

🪨 Rockin’ some team training! 😎
Our team recently visited one of our natural stone suppliers for a little hands-on training and a look at some of the latest products and materials available. It’s always great to get out in the yard, see the stone up close, and learn about new options we can use to create beautiful landscapes for our clients.

And of course, we had a little fun while we were there! 😂
🏍Rebecca arrived ready to rock on her new ride!
⚖️ And Rebecca and Jesse stepped onto the scale to finally settle the question… who’s the real heavyweight in the landscape industry? 😂

A fun day of learning, exploring, and hanging out with the team!🙌

🌿 What makes a landscape stand the test of time?
It’s more than choosing beautiful plants. Thoughtful planning, the right materials, and designing with the future in mind can help create an outdoor space that looks great now—and continues to thrive for years to come.

Our very own Jesse Brough recently shared his tips in an article in Camas Living Magazine on creating beautiful, low-maintenance landscapes you’ll enjoy for many years to come! 🌱

Congratulations to Ricardo Robles, our August "Values in Action" honoree!

Ricardo consistently shows flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to jump in wherever he’s needed. He has a knack for diagnosing issues, finding solutions, and communicating clearly with both our team and our customers.

Just as importantly, Ricardo brings kindness, patience, and a positive attitude to his work every day. Our customers notice it, too! We regularly hear what a “gem” he is! 💚

Thank you, Ricardo, for representing the Blessing Landscapes values so well. We appreciate all that you do! 🌿

From the little boy featured on our truck wrap to spending his summer as part of the crew! 🌿💚 If Tucker Brough looks familiar, there’s a reason—that joyful kid running through the water feature in the photo on our Blessing Landscapes truck is Tucker! Fast forward a few years, and he spent this summer working alongside the Blessing team.

Tucker brought enthusiasm, humility, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn and work hard. It’s pretty special seeing him go from experiencing the joy of a beautiful outdoor space as a kid to helping create that same joy for other kids and families.

As Tucker wraps up his summer with us this week, we’re grateful for all his hard work and hope he takes some great experiences (and a few new skills!) with him. Full circle indeed! 😊🌿

It's planting day! 🌿Our Blessing Landscapes team is back at our client Virginia Joplin's home to bring Phase 2 of this landscape transformation to life—this time, focusing on the front yard. Hidilberto and Alejandro are handling the installation, bringing Richell Chiu-Yap's landscape design to life, with Dave managing the project and Roger supporting the project through sales and estimating.

Last fall, we completed the backyard transformation, including a rain garden, flagstone pathways, new lawn, and more. We love coming back to a property and seeing how beautifully everything has settled in and begun to thrive! 🤩

It has been such a pleasure working with Virginia and Craig to beautify their property. We’re especially grateful for their trust and for always recommending our team to friends and neighbors. That kind of support means so much to our entire crew. 💚

Now we can’t wait to watch the new front yard grow in! 🌱
