Congratulations Nic and Amanda on your Silver Certification. Kim Cotter of Equilibrium Landscape Design and I loved working with you on this project. Remember you just wanted the lawn removed! The Big Leaf Maple life was jeopardized as the previous landscape company had buried 3’ of the trunk. Thank you, Roscoe Brothers Tree Service for working with us to cut and lay the BLM as Kim requested. As always it was a team effort. It was a perfect project for my crew in the heat in August.

Cardboard is crucial for sheet mulching to kill a lawn, but critics say there's no science proving it works. All you really need, they say, is lots of wood chips.
