After three decades of service, we are proud to celebrate the retirement of Jim Proulx and recognize the incredible impact he has had on Harder Mechanical.
Jim joined Harder in 1996 and spent the next 30 years helping guide our company through some of the most transformative periods in our history. A loyal advocate for Harder, he played an instrumental role in our growth from a regional contractor into a multi-million-dollar organization serving some of the most complex and innovative projects in the country.
Throughout his career, Jim helped expand our presence into the semiconductor market, supported the diversification of our project portfolio into commercial construction, and championed the values that continue to define our culture today. His leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence have left a lasting mark on our people, our clients, and our company.
But those who know Jim best know that his impact extends far beyond projects and business growth. He is a consummate storyteller, always ready with a memorable tale, a lesson learned, or a bit of humor that could bring a room together. Whether sharing stories from the jobsite, the golf course, or a favorite fishing trip, Jim had a way of building connections and making people feel like part of the team.
While we will certainly miss his guidance and partnership, we are grateful for the foundation he helped build and the legacy he leaves behind.
