Historic 1880 Italianate House Rehabilitation ⁠
⁠
Our teams were so proud to help restore the historic Fried-Durkheimer House, a.k.a. the first Morris Marks House. We measured, photographed, and carefully cut it in two; it was expertly relocated by , then put back together and restored by our crew, and now sits at SW Broadway Drive where it meets SW Grant Street. ⁠

Growing up before home AC systems were common in Portland, my sisters and I hung out in the basement when summer temps were too high. It was cool but dark, popsicles were always in the freezer but spiders popped out of all the nooks and crannies, and we had to sit on the stairs, milk crates, exercise bikes or folding chairs - not exactly comfortable. ⁠
