Tucked into the woods of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, this lakeside home was designed to feel connected to its surroundings at every turn.
A quiet material palette of warm wood, stone and soft neutral finishes carries from the exterior in, while expansive windows and thoughtfully framed openings keep the lake and landscape present throughout the home. Vaulted ceilings and exposed beams bring scale to the main living spaces, balanced by smaller, more intimate moments layered throughout.
Outside, natural wood siding, dark metal roofing and planted rooflines allow the architecture to settle into the site rather than compete with it. The green roof further softens the structure into the landscape, while expansive openings throughout the home keep the woods and water in view.
A home shaped by its setting, with an emphasis on natural materials, craftsmanship and a strong connection between indoors and out. We loved being part of this project and working alongside such a thoughtful team to bring it all together.
