We have been in business and serving homeowners and building professionals for over 66 years. Visit our showroom at 110th and Division St to see samples of many of our products. We are a third generation family owned business specializing in windows, doors, skylights, and related hardware and repairs. We have second and third generation customers who remember coming in to Truax Builders Supply as

children. We don't use any high pressure sales methods, and we don't have outside sales staff (we do have measuring and installation crews); all our sales take place in our showroom or over the phone. We are open from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

It's great to have the building trades getting busy. We've had some lean years, but are seeing a definite upturn in 2013. Milgard has become so busy that the windows and doors that took five or six days to get are now taking about two weeks. They are really hammered with business, so be sure to allow longer lead times. This applies to doors and windows from Marvin and other manufacturers too.

Big things are afoot at Truax! We are just completing a major project of our own. We are moving our wood shop that has been at 9211 SE Division St, Portland, Oregon for nearly 65 years. It is now in our main building at 10949 SE Division St next to our aluminum shop, and behind our office and showroom. This will make pickup and delivery of orders easier, and will increase our efficiency. With all our personnel in one location we will be able to move employees to the areas that are busiest. Our phone number for the wood shop will be disconnected at the end of November.
