What a rain!

If you did not know, my nursery is located in East Central Indiana just north of Muncie and Richmond. My weather station here when this was over said we received over 7" of rain. The paths are very sloppy and I have stayed out of the them the last few days. Luckily for us we are one of the seven highest counties in Indiana and just the start of the mighty Wabash River is just around the corner in Ohio. Not so lucky for everyone else.

That being said, I have some packing slips here that are from orders placed on the 9th. I will be working on orders this weekend a d all orders will go out nonlater than this coming Tuesday, August 18th.

I hope all of my customers, family and friends are safe from the flooding!

It is finally time to say, we are moving for sure.

We now own a property in town and we will be working on it after school starts and when the season is over.

That being said, I am right working on going through potted plants and getting the number of pots that I want to take with me down to a minimum. I will be selling on the website the rest of the season and will post some pictures when I can on this page. Most plants will stay in the $5-$10 range and shipping will remain a flat $10. If you sign up and use your Pip Points the hostas just get even cheaper. I have lowered the prices on most remaining stock on the website and will be adding more. Orders can be combined and I will refund for shipping when I see it. If I do not, just send me a message.

A few years back I sent several Mike Vasey plants in for production. It was quite the undertaking and I have invested lots of time and some money into bringing these to the market so they can be shared with lots of collectors.

I just added six new varieties to the website in a limited quantity of 12 each. Some of these I do not have many more to sell for this season and will have more available for sale for Spring 2027 shipping. I will offer more once this first round is shipped and after I know what is still big enough to sell.

Five of these are being sold elsewhere, 'It Came from Outerspace' is on the smaller side and is an exclusive Hosta to our nursery and you will not find anywhere else. They are all well rooted and ready to take off in your garden.

This is one of my top ten plants and it is a species. When I think of this one in the wild I imagine someone is battling it with a weed-wacker like we do our weeds.

Really nice and in need of bigger pots. There are only four left at $10 each. These are starting to put out scales and would be great for a breeding program to add some ruffles and white backs.

I just added several streaked and a few hard to find plants on the Hosta Auction page. Don't miss out on a once a season offering from my collection.

Here is one I put into production and I ended up getting several that were either medio variegated or even streaked. I pulled the beat streaked one out and it still looks good and streaked. All the rest of them ended up going all blue and I can not tell which is which.

I just added 36 of these to the website at $20 each. They are all getting to be nice in size and really need to be put into bigger pots or your yard.

Order now and you may end up with a jem.

The one pictured is out of a 4" extra deep pot and is very cupped!
