A very custom screen door, with its “nesting” jamb feature. Existing conditions weren’t ideal, and space was limited, so the best solution was to route a channel for the screen door jamb (which was engineered to be a combined unit with one half of the casing) to slip into. Worked very well.

This 54” wide 2.25” thick door slab had to be hung on 6” x 6” ball bearing hinges due to it’s width and weight. We sprayed it with several colors of pigmented two part polyurethane. What a monster of a door!

We vacuume bagged teak veneers onto these marine doors/hatches to add some warmth to the cabin interior. Then epoxy coated and sprayed AwlCraft, then sanded to 3000, and buffed and polished. Shiny!

24’ x 16’ Purgola. Posts and beams built from Sapele, trellis work from Yellow Cedar. Locust pegs register the half laps of two 12’s to form the 24’ front beam. All parts coated in a sprayed two part polyurethane finish. Just wait till the roses grow into it!
