Today was a great day for MarCam Lawn Service and it has nothing to do with making a couple bucks. After my third yard today, I was heading home and passed a disabled man in a wheelchair w**deatinghis front ditch. I drove down the road a bit and turned around to go back to his house. I stopped, got my w**d eater and told him that I got the rest for him. He said his kid disappeared somewhere into the house. I finished the ditch, shook his hand and told him to have an awesome day. Asked me how much for the help and I said no way would I even ask or take money for it. Best handshake I've had in a long time because I knew it meant a ton to him for the help.
These are the decisions in life that I know I'm doing thing right. Better yet, I know my Dad is looking down as proud as one could be from heaven. It takes a little to make someone's day and give a helping hand.
