We are proud to be a small part of bringing this space to life for the upcoming mural festivities in Portsmouth!

Thornton Electrical Services recently installed festoon lighting in the alleyway to help highlight the artist’s creations for the annual mural festival happening May 8th - 9th.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, especially Julie Chop and Portsmouth Armie Navie for getting us involved. We’re excited to support public art, local businesses, and the continued growth of our downtown community. Tony said his trophies didn’t matter… so I handled it.

Tony owner of Thornton Electrical Services and a licensed captain who has raced sailboats competitively for years — had all of his trophies sitting on open shelves like they didn’t matter.

So while he was out of town, I bought a $300 cabinet, had the girls in the office, Ashley Albright and Tabitha Thornton put it together, and we moved everything in where it actually belonged.

Then our guys, Jonathan Albright and John McRae, added LED lighting using materials we already had and completely changed the look.

Proof you don’t need anything fancy… just the right people.

It’s the kind of detail work we love — and something we’re happy to bring into your home or business.
