We will miss you Jack Skura! Happy Retirement!

On Thursday, the Thornton Electrical Services team took a moment to pause, come together, and celebrate someone who has been a very special part of our TES family for over 20 years our longtime
Estimator Jack Skura.

As our estimator, his knowledge, dedication, and attention to detail have helped build a company we are proud of. His work is part of so many jobs we’ve completed, and his contributions will stay with us long after today.

Jack, thank you for your years of hard work, your loyalty, and the care you’ve given Thornton Electrical Services!

We wish you good health, happy adventures, and plenty of time to enjoy life on your own schedule. You’ve certainly earned it!

After more than 12 days in the hospital, including time in the ICU, Tony is home, healing and recovering. He is now taking phone calls and working remotely.

Throughout this time, Thornton Electrical Services trucks have kept rolling, our customers have been cared for, and our team has stepped up with the skill, dedication and professionalism we are so proud of.

Moments like these remind us that the strength of our company is in its people. We are grateful for our capable, dependable team and their commitment to keeping everything running smoothly.

Thank you for your calls, prayers, kind words and continued support. They mean so much to Tony and our family.

We may have missed National Dog Day yesterday, but we've been celebrating all week with a very special visitor! 🐾

Meet Winston, our shop coordinator Ashley Albright's adorable 16 week old Cockapoo. While Ashley is on vacation, Winston has been reporting for duty at the shop and even gets to go home with the Thorntons!

He's full of energy, loads of fun and has quickly stolen everyone's heart. We're hoping this sweet boy becomes a weekly visitor! 🦴🐶

🎉Congratulations to W***y Watts on earning his Virginia Master Electrician License.

Earning a Master
Electrician license is no small accomplishment. It represents years of hands on experience, continued education,
determination, and a commitment to mastering the electrical trade.

For the past eight years plus, W***y has been an important part of the Thornton Electrical Services team. He has
tackled challenging projects, mentored apprentices in the field, and built a reputation for expecting quality workmanship. He believes in doing the job right, and he passes that on to those who work alongside him.

What's even more impressive is that he achieved this milestone while balancing work, studying, some fishing and life at home with, Cassidy, and their two beautiful daughters under the age of two.

W***y's achievement is another example of the dedication our team has to growing in the trade and providing the best possible service to our customers.

Congratulations, W***y! We're proud of your hard work and this well-earned achievement!

Help us congratulate W***y Watts on earning his Virginia Master
Electrician License!

Typical evening with Tony who has owned Thornton Electrical Services for 29 years.

We pulled out of the driveway two hours late because my long haired hippie man was stuck at the office.

We were finally headed downtown for some music and a bite to eat when the
emergency call came in.

He looked at me, and I said, "Let's go, babe."

We turned around, grabbed his work truck and headed to Gloucester. It was a true electrical emergency, Tony figured it out and made everything safe. We have a team back on site this morning to finish the job.

After many years, he's still got it and l absolutely love watching how his brain works.

The marina treated us to a wonderful conversation, a cocktail and dinner at the restaurant, so the night turned out pretty great after all.

I sure do love my adventures with Captain Blue Eyes.
