Spokane County Fire District 8 Recent Projects - Several major projects were successfully completed over the past year. These include a complete renovation of Station 85, yielding upgraded dorm rooms, bathrooms, a new kitchen, living area, and new siding and roof. The fire apparatus maintenance building was expanded, providing a larger shop, office space, and storage mezzanine. Finally a conference room wall infill and patch at Station 82 was completed, featuring a new video wall for enhanced meeting capabilities.
