For every 10% increase in cedar cover, 400lbs/acre of forage is lost.

No Cedar (Productive central Oklahoma site)
- Production: 4,730 lbs/acre
- Stocking Rate: 10 acres for 1 cow (year-long 1,300lb cow)
- Number of Animals: 8 cows on 80 acres

80% Cedar (Encroached central Oklahoma site)
- Production: 1,300 lbs/acre
- Stocking Rate: 68 acres for 1 cow (year-long, 1,300lb cow)
- Number of Animals: 2 cows on 80 acres
