We're hiring! Still Construction is currently seeking a heavy machinery/diesel mechanic. Mechanic should be able to:
-Identify and fix issues in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
-Conduct regular service like oil and filter changes
-Overhaul and rebuild components in engines and transmissions
-Used specialized tools, diagnostic software, and welding equipment
-Must understand diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and hydraulic systems

- Maintain Class A and medical certification
- Keep trucks fueled and inspected daily
- Safely deliver equipment or materials to job sites
- Report maintenance issues/repairs to lead mechanic
- Support mechanics as needed
- Take responsibility for all required personal safety measures

Major preparations happening to get ready for next week!

Introducing the Big Green Machine! It's always fun to get something new (to us), and this week we took delivery of a D7G, previously a military surplus dozer (which explains the color). With its reputation as the most incredible piece of equipment made by the Caterpillar Company, we are excited to put "Hulk" to work!

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of one of our own, Paul Hitchcock. He was one of our drivers, nicknamed "Giggles" because of his infectious laugh. He always greeted everyone with a smile, was loved by all, and will be greatly missed.
