i have done this a million times but every time i take a table base from my bench to the floor i freak out and think,
DEAR GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!
ive created a table for ants who can’t read good!!

rest assured its the correct height but it gives me a mild heart attack every time.

Before joist hangers carpenters from the 1800’s mortised pockets for tenons jigged out on the end of the floor joists. pretty remarkable.

well kids I've gone and done it. i am out on my own. After 4 or so years with Smoky Mountain Vintage Lumber im moving my workbench to the mothership in order to create my own line of furniture as well as custom tailored projects.
