I was so happy when our clients agreed to take the wall down between their kitchen and dining room. This kitchen is just breathtaking. Looking at the before photos, you'd never think it was the same house.

Big thanks to our contractor, John Durham for running this project with us and bringing our drawings and design to life. As always, your work is exceptional.

A shout out to our guys in our shop, and our install team, who did a beautiful job with our cabinets.

I'm having a little debate with an interior designer of which layout with the vent hood looks more aesthetically pleasing. (And only aesthetically pleasing)

A. Curved hood on sides with a sconce and a floating shelf.
B. Straight hood with a sconce and a floating shelf.
C. Straight hood with just a sconce.
D. Straight hood with a cabinet next to it.

PLEASE VOTE IN THE COMMENTS.

Note: I i don't have complete control of the shape of the hoods in this program sometimes. And the full height, splash with the stone shelf underneath the hood is not an option to go.

Which walk-in pantry layout do you like best?😍
Layout A or B?

Manakin Home Services brought us in to design a walk-in pantry for their client. To bring the vision to life, our custom cabinet shop is building and providing all the cabinetry and shelves.

Our renderings show two different layout options, featuring built-in under-cabinet lighting. Slide to see how the lighting transforms the mood from a functional workspace to a soft evening glow.

Can you guess which floorplan layout our clients chose? Pay no attention to tile, materials, colors, fixtures. Just the layouts that we drew.

Clients checklist that we had to meet on the floorplan:
- Must have a stand-alone soaker tub
- Must have a place to mount a TV on the wall
- Cannot move existing windows
- Cannot move the existing toilet
- Cannot move entry door

NOTE OPTION 1: THE WINDOW IN THE SHOWER CAN BE WATERPROOFED WITH A FILM ON THE GLASS THAT CAN STAY CLEAR, OR WITH A PRESS OF A BUTTON, TURN OPAQUE FOR PRIVACY.

These are our 3d renderings. Once we've helped our clients choose all their material selections in the bathroom, we'll upload all those colors, tiles, finishes, etc. So they'll be able to have a clear visual representation of what their bathroom will look like.

Myth: Large cabinet storefronts always have better pricing than local custom shops.

Reality: Many homeowners pay premium prices for semi-custom or boxed cabinetry. Depending on the cabinet line, these retail markups can run 15% to 20% higher than the cost of our fully custom solutions.

We aren't the lowest-cost shop in town—we focus strictly on premium, individualized, craftsmanship. But consumers paying custom prices for mass-produced cabinets, when they could have made a comparable investment for true custom quality, needs to be made aware to the public.
