Garcia Roofing is urgently looking for a Bilingual Production Assistant in the New Orleans, LA area. The right candidate’s main responsibility will be to manage all functions of full roof replacements while providing outstanding customer service. Maintaining excellent communication, a positive attitude and good work ethic are all critical parts of this job role.

Role and Responsibilities not limited to

· Supervise and coordinate multiple production crews

· Strong involvement in completion of scope of work from start to finish

· Utilize company programs to document the scope of work and progression

· Complete job progression documents, inspections, and reports

· Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction

· Communicate with customers and managers on job progression, safety risks and other key aspects of the job

· Perform quality control duties for all work being performed on jobsite

· Identify subcontractor noncompliance with safety, health, and environmental standards

· Work closely with production team regarding ordering materials and work orders

· Comply with the safety policies of the company and OSHA standards and regulations

· Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of jobsites

Job Requirements

· Using ladder to access roofs minimum height up to 25 feet or more.

· Physical stamina of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing

· Ability to lift and move 50 plus pounds

· Operate equipment and tools safely

· Preform manual labor in extreme temperatures and weather conditions when required.

· Pass drug screen, background check and driving record check

· Strong computer and technology skills preferred

· Minimum of 2 years roofing or construction experience preferred

· Available to work evenings and weekends as needed

· Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills

· Ability to travel to different locations within the New Orleans, LA area.

Role and Responsibilities but not limited to:

· Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
· Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
· Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
· Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
· Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
· Run errands, handles mail and performs related duties as requested.
· Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License
High School Diploma or higher education preferred
Experience with answering a multi-line phone system
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented mentality
Courteous demeanor with a strong customer service mentality

This role requires performing administrative duties as listed necessary to update and maintain a strong and efficient division but not limited to: daily job and safety planning for crews, coordinating with vendors for material orders and delivery, customer service for clients through projects and after completion, scheduling appointments, inputting leads, typing estimates and following up.

Role and Responsibilities (not limited to)

Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information between office and field

Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives

Make certain that client’s needs are met as the project evolves

Help prepare project proposals, time frames, schedule and budget

Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise

Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants

Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and money spend

Issue all appropriate legal and required paperwork to complete task

Report and escalate to management as needed

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

Daily meetings with the sales department

Verifies the roofer’s bills and charge it on Quickbooks

Comply with company's Policies and Procedures, and Employee Handbook

Requirements

Must be Bilingual (Spanish-English) *Required*

Must have driver’s license

High School Graduate or equivalent is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook calendar).

Strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize multiple tasks

Problem solving skills and effective time-management

Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
