Thirsten’s full interview can be found here! I’m super proud of what this young man can do in a crane!
If any of you are interested in a career in the crane industry, Trand, Inc. has an apprenticeship program that can take you from having zero experience in the industry to becoming a certified crane operator in just a few years!
Because my middle son is enrolled in the program through the school, I recently realized that our apprenticeship program follows the same curriculum as Pratt High School. That means students can complete the “Core” program through the high school and potentially satisfy that portion of our apprenticeship requirements, allowing them to move more quickly into hands-on rigging and crane operating experience.
We are proud to see our school district helping prepare students for careers like this, and as President of Trand, Inc., I want to encourage anyone interested to reach out to us and learn more!
Being a crane operator is a rewarding career that pays well and offers opportunities to build a future you can be proud of. It’s a career that takes skill, dedication, and a commitment to safety, and it can open doors to a lifetime of opportunity.
For more information, call Trand, Inc. at 620-672-9595 and ask for Andrea.
One thing we have learned over the years is that the people we raise up within our company often stay the longest and become some of our most loyal and valuable employees. We believe in investing in people, teaching them the trade, and helping them build a future.
At Trand, Inc., we are a family, and that family philosophy is at the heart of our safety culture.
If you or someone you know is interested in learning a trade, building a career, and becoming part of a great team, we would love to hear from you!
Thanks!
Andrea D. Patterson
