Bees LOVE her.. me Too!!
If you are looking for a plant that attracts bees, Echinacea , otherwise known as Coneflowers, is a great plant to grow.

I especially love this bold red color, because it adds a splash to the yard..👩‍🌾🐝🌺

Don’t you just love the shape AND color of one of my successful Winter Sowing experiments?

I’m scared, but I gotta do it..
These hanging baskets of petunias and verbena were magnificent for a couple months. This last heat wave really took its toll. The plants look so tired and disheveled.

I am giving them a good haircut this morning, watering them really well, and then letting them rest for the next few days in a shady location to get over the shock I just gave them.. wish me luck, k?

I’m on a roll now..
In a previous post this week,
I mentioned that I don’t pick
flowers outside to make bouquets
very often. I enjoy watching them
grow outside instead.💐🌼🌷🌺🌸

Oh well, every day is a New one,
things change…☀️🌞😎

Yesterday, I talked to My good friend, who is
bedridden and recovering from a tough surgery. When I asked her what I could
do or bring her to lift her spirits, she asked
me to bring her some flowers picked from
my yard.

Voila!!
This bouquet was really fun to put
together..
My friend is a tremendous cook, so I included a couple treats that I think she
will especially appreciate..( do you recognize
them in this photo?)

I don’t know about you, but I enjoy the beauty of plants that have gone to seed too!!

I learned something today when I pulled up tired peas. I pulled up a tired radish that had flowers And tiny pods on it. Tasted it and it was a tiny radish pod.. crazy, huh?
Delicious And so tender!!

Maybe That is one of my new Super-Foods to grow..🤓🧐🤓🧐
