Once again... an Intermark employee is doing awesome stuff and ending up in the news.

Sorry, not sorry, we are bragging about our team again. 😏

Our own Troy Lessar climbed behind the wheel of the Intermark car, headed into the demo derby, and apparently decided showing up wasn’t enough...

HE WON THE WHOLE THING.

We spend a lot of time talking about building things around here. Every once in a while, it’s fun to see how well we can tear them up too.

Huge congratulations to Troy on bringing home the win and representing Team Intermark in a way we definitely won’t forget anytime soon.

⛳ Three years running!

🏌‍♂️ (And swinging)

On July 31, Intermark was back at the USFA Golf Tournament as a hole sponsor for the third year in a row.

We always enjoy getting out of the office, spending time with others in the industry, and supporting Utah’s steel fabrication community.

A little sunshine and a day on the golf course certainly doesn’t hurt either.

And because no Intermark outing is complete without a good story...

Our owner, Matt Bl**er, accidentally signed himself up for the women’s driving competition.

Did he back out?

Absolutely not.

Did he place 4th?

Also yes.

We’ll be hearing about that one for a while. Nothing like a little competition to keep things fun.

( Give him a hard time if you talk to him 😉 )

Another great year supporting USFA, connecting with our industry friends, and having a little fun along the way. We’re already looking forward to year four!

☀️ Summer Bash, Intermark style.

One of our favorite annual traditions is getting the crew together for a little summer fun in Price UT.

This year had all the essentials:
🍕 pizza
🤸 bouncy houses
🌊 wave pool
☀️ sunshine

🕶️ And plenty of time to kick back and enjoy each other's company.

We work hard together all year long, so there's something pretty special about seeing everyone outside of work having a blast, and the team getting a chance to simply relax and have some fun.

A company is built by its people, but there's a whole lot of support behind those people too. We're grateful for the employees and families who make Intermark what it is.

Another Summer Bash in the books, and a lot of good memories along with it.

The helmets are coming out of storage.

The cleats are getting laced up.

Teams are back on the practice field, fans are counting down the days until kickoff, and before long, stadiums across the country will be filled with the sounds of marching bands, roaring crowds, and Friday night lights.

Can you believe it's almost football season?

Our team had the opportunity to help with the new ASU stadium! We provided the miscellaneous steel for the project. It's a project we will never forget.

There's something special about knowing that every season, thousands of fans will fill those stands, families will make memories together, and student-athletes will chase dreams in a place we had the privilege of helping build.

As another football season gets ready to kick off, we're grateful to have left a piece of our work in a stadium where so many unforgettable moments will continue to unfold.

Here's to another season of big plays, loud crowds, and making memories that last long after the final whistle.

We're proud to have recently completed our miscellaneous steel scope for the new Smith Entertainment Group offices supporting the Utah Mammoth organization in Sandy, Utah.

Smith Entertainment Group continues to develop its new sports campus. Their new facility will bring together team operations, business offices, and world-class facilities for the Utah Mammoth and Utah Jazz. We were honored to play a part in creating a space that will support the people working behind the scenes every day.

While the fans see the excitement on the ice, it's buildings like these that help make it all possible! Every office, meeting space, and collaboration area is designed to support the people working hard to build a first-class organization.
We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to another project that's helping shape the future of Utah's sports community.

Congratulations to everyone involved. We're proud to have left our mark on this exciting project!

❄️ If you're the kind of person who starts waxing your skis in August... you're our kind of people.

⛷️ Ski season might still be a few months away, but let's be honest, we're already dreaming about fresh powder, bluebird mornings, and that first chair of the season. (Snow dances are officially underway.)

In the meantime, we're excited to be working on a beautiful new lodge at Powder Mountain, where our team is providing the miscellaneous steel package.

It's always rewarding to work on projects that bring people together, and this one will become a place where skiers warm up, swap stories about the day's best runs, and make memories with friends and family.

We can't wait to share more as the project takes shape.

Until then... we'll keep watching the weather! We are already praying for rain. Fingers crossed we have amazing snow pack this year. We need it! (And want it.)

There was a time when every project felt like a big opportunity.

Now, we're grateful to say those opportunities have taken us across the country.

Over the years, Intermark has had the privilege of fabricating and installing steel for hospitals, universities, stadiums, entertainment venues, correctional facilities, data centers, commercial buildings, and everything in between.

We've worked on projects that serve students chasing their dreams, fans cheering on their favorite teams, patients receiving life-changing care, and communities that rely on the spaces we help build every single day.

No matter where the project takes us, one thing hasn't changed.

We still approach every job the same way we did on day one- with hardworking people, quality craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing the job right.

From local landmarks to nationally recognized projects, we're proud of how far we've come.

And we're just getting started.

Most people spend their lives trying to stay out of prison. Our team spent months on the inside... to help build one!

We're proud to have been part of this miscellaneous steel package for the new Utah State Correctional Facility, a project unlike any other.

Building a correctional facility isn't just about putting steel in place. Every detail has a purpose. Every component is designed with security, durability, and longevity in mind.

And while we hope you'll never get the chance to inspect our work up close, we're proud to know it's there doing exactly what it was designed to do.

Communities depend on facilities like this to function safely, and we're grateful to have played a role in building one that will serve Utah for years to come.

Some projects leave a lasting impression long after the steel is in place. 95 State in downtown Salt Lake City is one of those projects.

Our team was proud to contribute structural and miscellaneous steel for one of the first urban meetinghouses built for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in downtown Salt Lake City. The project was unique in many ways, including a chapel thoughtfully integrated into the lower level of the building, and it was an opportunity to be part of something that will serve the community for generations.

But this project is memorable for another reason.

It's where we first met Andy Tygard.

What began as a project relationship eventually led Andy to joining the Intermark team, where he now serves as one of our project managers. Every day, he helps keep projects moving, coordinates countless details behind the scenes, and plays an important role in delivering successful outcomes for our customers.

It's funny how one project can shape the future in more ways than one.

We're grateful for the opportunity to have worked on 95 State, and even more grateful that it introduced us to someone who has become such an important part of the Intermark team.

Here's to great projects... and the great people you meet along the way.

South Dakota shoutout!

While they may not always be in the spotlight, our SD team is hard at work helping deliver some of Intermark's largest and most demanding projects.

From supporting major data center construction to tackling fast-paced schedules and complex fabrication, this team continues to raise the bar every day.

Some of the work they're building is highly confidential, so we can't always show you what they're working on... but we can say this: it's exciting, it's challenging, and they're doing an incredible job.

Things are busy. Things are moving fast. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
A huge thank you to our South Dakota crew for the craftsmanship, dedication, and work ethic you bring every single day. We're excited to see what this team continues to build in the years ahead.
