Another bathroom remodel off the list this week. We gutted this one down to the studs and installed a new onyx shower system, new drywall, upgraded lights, and vinyl flooring. This job was completed in four days and is now ready for the clients to enjoy. Big jobs or small, we love them all.

Atlas burnt hickory for the win on this clients house. This roof was in serious need of a replacement. We removed all the improperly installed old shingles, replaced 13 sheets of decking, installed new shingles, and correctly installed new chimney flashing. One more job completed and one more happy client.

🏗️ Phase One Complete! 🔨

A BIG thank you to Bodycote Princeton, KY, for their continued trust and repeat business! We truly appreciate the opportunity to work with them again! 🤝

✅ Phase One of their facility’s new roof is complete!

Here’s what we accomplished:

🔨 Removed the old, leaking roof and replaced it with durable, commercial-grade industrial R-panel metal roofing.

🏗️ Removed the old, deteriorating insulation and installed new Silvercote insulation.

💪 These upgrades provide long-lasting protection while also improving the appearance of the facility’s interior!

We will also rent this unit out when not in use. It could be used for outdoor events, church events, or any thing else where large lighting is needed.

Planters bank finances almost all of the houses and larger projects we do along with taking or all my business and family’s financial needs. I truly can’t recommend them enough.

🏗️ OUR BIGGEST ROOF TO DATE! 🏗️

We recently completed a major roofing project at Lake Barkley Health & Rehab, and this was definitely one for the books!

Here’s a look at what went into this job:

🔨 Removed 3 layers of shingles, wood strips, and the existing metal roof
⚖️ Hauled off over 320,000 pounds of old roofing material
🪵 Replaced over 100 sheets of rotten decking
🔩 Installed all new wood lath
🏠 Finished it off with a brand-new gloss black metal roof

One thing that was important to Lake Barkley Health & Rehab was utilizing local contractors and local businesses whenever possible. We were proud to be able to purchase over $70,000 worth of materials locally for this project. Supporting local was a big part of getting this job done! 🤝

Not only does this facility look better, but it’s now ready for whatever weather may come! 💪

A big thank you to Lake Barkley Health & Rehab for trusting Morris Construction with such a large project.
