Job description:
We are growing and looking for an EXPERIENCED individual to join our fast-growing team! We are looking for someone that is loyal, organized, and precise. *Some available positions will benefit with having 1-2 + years of previous wood finishing/sprayer assistant experience. You are a quality-conscious, consistent, dependable person, and prepared to take on tasks as assigned. We expect you to be detail-oriented and take pride in a job well done. Your Resume MUST show your previous/current experience to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities may include:
*Start-up/Set-Up of line and oven.
*Running wood trim and window parts of various lengths, profiles, and quantities on a paint spray line and keep the line running to hit daily goals.
*Able to read paperwork and purchase orders.
*Adjusting spray guns, fluid pressure, air pressure, and knowing how to fix a bad spray pattern.
*Able to make fast changeovers between profiles and coatings.
*Change filters out on booths as needed.
*Assist feeder or catcher if needed.
*Follow control plan for testing parts during a run.
*Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
*Clean paint line at the end of your shift.
*Sanding, Staining, applying Varnish and Painting of wood products.
*Prepare wood surfaces for finishing by filling cracks and imperfections, and ensuring smoothness
*Use air-assisted spray guns to seal and topcoat.
*Use appropriate tools and equipment to apply finishes evenly and accurately
*Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
*Strong knowledge of different types of wood finishes and their application techniques
*Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
*Keep your work area neat and clean.
*Work as a team player
*Work in a fast-paced environment
*Good communicator and listener
