Goodbye ugly kitchen outlets on your backsplash.

Before anyone asks…

Yes, you still have outlets.

No, your coffee maker isn’t homeless.

No, this doesn’t mean running extension cords across the kitchen.

And yes, we know hidden outlets are not brand new.

But they are still one of those simple, thoughtful kitchen details we love seeing in a custom home.

In many of our custom builds, outlets are tucked beneath upper cabinets or integrated into less visible locations so the backsplash, tile, and kitchen design can stay the focal point.

Pair that with appliance garages for everyday items like coffee makers, toasters, and blenders, and suddenly your counters feel cleaner, your backsplash feels uninterrupted, and your kitchen feels a whole lot more intentional.

Small detail?

Maybe.

But these are the details that make a custom kitchen feel custom.

This pile of dirt is the beginning of something special.

We officially broke ground on a new home in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and while it may not look like much today, the vision is already taking shape.

Over the next several months, this site will transform from excavation and foundation work into a finished home. We’ll be sharing the process every step of the way—from the groundwork and framing to the final details.

Most custom homes are designed around the people who live there.

This Prineville, Oregon one (we call Lot 31) was designed around the cats, too.

What started as a custom cat wall became a fully integrated part of the home. The climbing shelves begin in the foyer and continue into the dining area, creating a pathway that winds throughout the house. Built-in cat doors connect rooms, cabinet details double as climbing access points, and multiple litter box stations are concealed within custom cabinetry and vented directly to the exterior.

Every detail was thoughtfully incorporated into the design so the cats have their own spaces without sacrificing the architecture or aesthetics of the home.

It's one of the most unique custom features we've built, and a perfect example of what makes a truly custom home different.

Leland Rd. custom shop is officially underway in Oregon City.

This custom shop build is designed with oversized garage space, a mezzanine, gathering room, covered deck, and outdoor fireplace — built to function as more than just a shop.

Right now, framing is just getting started, but this is the phase where the scale of the structure and layout really begin to take shape.

We’ll be sharing the full process as this Oregon custom shop comes together from the ground up.
