After 5 years of running a tiltrotator in our fleet, it still amazes us how versatile and efficient they are. We have both an & and they both help us do amazing work
We recently wrapped up a small step and grading project at a cabin with extremely tight working conditions. While the 235 may have seemed oversized for a project like this, it turned out to be the perfect machine for the job. We were able to stay positioned at the top of the steps in one spot and complete the entire installation from there.
With the amount of trees surrounding the site, our only option was to swing all of the material over the deck. Definitely not the ideal approach, but having the Hydra Grapple equipped with lock valves gave us added peace of mind. Even with that extra safety measure, we still took every precaution and made sure each step had a secure grip before moving it.
One of the biggest advantages of the tiltrotator is the ability to quickly switch between attachments without ever leaving the cab. The time savings and efficiency really add up on projects like this.
The backyard was also extremely tight and had already begun eroding from previous construction. We carefully worked our way in with the 235, removed several dead trees, excavated a patio, hauled in 18 loads of fill, and graded our way back out.
Before adding a tiltrotator to our fleet, a project like this would have taken significantly longer, required much more labor, and been far more challenging overall. With the tiltrotator, it became a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable project that we completed in just a couple of days. #235
