JM Home Construction LLC General Contractor + Dumpster Rentals - Pulaski, NY - Specializing in residential interior and exterior finishes.

My name is Jason Muckey Jr., owner and General Contractor for JM Home Construction, LLC. I am a former Corrections Officer that found their way into the home building and renovations field after moving to Pulaski, NY in 2017. For 4 years I was a carpenter for a small company that built high end homes. This led me to honing in on my specialty of finish work and ultimately opening up my business in 2022. I know that the details, both small and large, are key to bringing your vision to life. When hiring JM Home Construction, you can be confident that you have hired a knowledgable, detail oriented, hardworking Contractor who puts your vision first. Starting in 2024, I have added temporary dumpster rentals to the business. To bring ease to your residential clean outs and remodels we include drop off, pick up and first ton of garbage to your statement.

Sometimes it’s the little changes... This updated desk creates a more functional workspace while making better use of the room. Designed to fit the space and meet the needs of the homeowner, it’s a great example of how thoughtful design can make a room work better without sacrificing style.

We took an outdated and seemingly cramped space from this oversized walk up tub and reimagined the space to create a bathroom that’s both functional and beautiful!

This space got a complete transformation with a new layout, custom glass shower, beautifully tiled shower walls, new flooring, and fresh trim to bring it all together.

We’ve spent the last 5 months renovating a log cabin and its boathouse from the inside out, and we can’t wait to share the transformation with you!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be showing you the before, during, and after of this project. First up… the boathouse/garage!

A few things we tackled:
•Stripped off the old log siding
•Replaced it with True Log metal log siding
•Re-trimmed everything
•Built scaffolding over the water to install the doors (yes, submerged scaffolding!)

A lot of hard work and attention to detail have gone into this one. Stay tuned to see how each space comes together.

Some jobs keep us grounded… and some give us a better view.

Working above 8+ feet of water means one wrong move and a tool becomes part of the lake.

What’s our solution? Nothing fancy. Just a tether tied to the tool and clipped to a carabiner on our belt… Jason’s own highly engineered anti-splash system.

At JM Home Construction, we believe in supporting local whenever we can.

We recently had the pleasure of working with American Aftermarket to create our custom back rack, and the experience was topnotch from start to finish. Their communication was excellent, making the entire process smooth and easy, and the quality of their work speaks for itself.

It’s clear their products are built to last, and we’re proud to support another hardworking local business that takes pride in what they do.

Thank you, American Aftermarket Metalworks, for helping us bring our vision to life!

This full addition is officially complete. What was once a porch with broken screens is now a beautiful, functional living space featuring a raised ceiling, natural light pouring in through multiple windows, warm pine tongue-and-groove finishes, and an 8-foot sliding glass door that opens seamlessly onto a brand new Fiberon deck.

More space, more light, and a whole new way for this family to enjoy their home, inside and out.

We were excited to announce that JM Home Construction hired a new employee this week.

Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out.
On his very first day, all he did was stand around… no tools, no cleanup, no productivity whatsoever. We had to let him go.

BUT, this “termination” comes with a much bigger purpose.

This Yeti is now back out in the community doing what he actually does best, raising awareness for pediatric cancer and supporting 8 year old Hunter and his upcoming benefit, Carnival for a Cause.

If you happen to “hire” him next, here’s your job:
• Snap a photo with him at your business
• Share the benefit flyers
• Post the signs of pediatric cancer
• Tag Hunter Strong One Team One Fight
• Copy and share the original instructions

Let’s keep him moving and keep the awareness growing.

We’re thinking of you, Hunter, and your entire family. This community is behind you every step of the way.

Quality isn’t something we rush, it’s something we build into every detail.

From the first cut to the final finish, every project is handled with precision, care, and a hands-on approach. When you work with us, you’re not just hiring a crew, you’re getting the owner on-site, making sure everything is done right, every step of the way.

We take pride in true craftsmanship and consistency, working year-round to deliver results that last and stand out.

Our schedule is booked until Summer 2027, so if you’ve been thinking about a project, now is the time to start planning and secure your spot.
