Patrick Glen McKeefry, 76, of Pulaski, entered eternal peace and harmony on Monday, May 12, 2025, at home. The son of Lue and Beatrice (Johnson) McKeefry was born on October 10, 1948.
Pat grew up in Pulaski and graduated from Pulaski High School with the class of 1966. On December 13, 1966, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served until his honorable discharge on October 3, 1970.
On August 5, 1972, Pat married Mary Ann Kryger at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. In 1972 Pat, along with his father and brother, started McKeefry & Sons, Inc. In 2013 he passed the reins to the next generation, but continued to click his heels down the hall until he was no longer able.
Pat was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Pulaski. He was also a longtime member of the American Legion Post #337, VFW Post #9719, and spent 40 years as a volunteer fireman with the Pulaski Tri-County Volunteer Fire Department.
An avid outdoorsman, Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially golfing. He also enjoyed watching the Packers, John Wayne movies, and anything on the History Channel. Pat cherished following his grandkids in sports, no matter the season, along with countless get togethers with his close friends, “The Group”. He built his life as a humble man of tradition.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 52 years, Mary Ann; two children: Kelly “Buck” (Angie) McKeefry and their children, Eli, Maddox, and Eden; and Molly (Joel) Van Lannen and their sons, Griffin and Bryce; three brothers: Jimmy Lee McKeefry, Bruce McKeefry, and Geno (Dee) McKeefry; a sister, Sue Gritz; sister-in-law, Mary McKeefry; a brother-in-law, Jim Gawryleski; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to his parents, Lue and Beatrice, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry McKeefry, a sister, Ruth Ann Gawryleski, a sister-in-law, Lori Ann McKeefry, a brother-in-law, Jack Gritz, and a niece, Jessica McKeefry.
Friends are invited to gather with family at St. John Lutheran Church, 910 S. St. Augustine St. Pulaski, on Sunday, May 18, from 4-7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday from 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Yaw officiating. Burial with military honors rendered by the Pulaski Area Veterans will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, Laney.
The family would like to thank the Bellin Cancer Team and Unity Hospice Team for the care and compassion given to Pat.
The family respectfully asks that no flowers be sent. Donations will be given to local organizations that were meaningful to Pat.
