This is my little garden path experiment. I mixed dry cement into my existing soil and tamped it down. On the gravel path, I tamped some gravel into the soil cement mixture. So far it's working great! Much cheaper than any other hardskape path I can think of. The cement was about $15 and the gravel was $4.

I made this concrete bench leg yesterday before work. It was easy-peasy. It took about 45 minutes and cost about $4. The total bench will be approximately $20. They are close to $70 in home improvement stores! I did pay $40 for the mold, on Walmart.com, but I plan on making a ton of benches.
