It was an exciting weekend!! Our very own, TJ Thornberry, was awarded the prestigious Pacesetter Award by the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce! What a humbling surprise and awesome honor! Thank you to the Chamber for this and it has been a pleasure being highly involved with such a great organization for so many years! We look forward to a continued partnership!

What an awesome afternoon! Love having the opportunity to speak to and hopefully impact the youth in our community!

It was an honor for TJ Thornberry of Thornberry Custom Builders, Inc to spend some time with the students at Port Charlotte High School Pirates Football Next Steps class.
TJ shared his family’s story—from his dad’s service in Vietnam, to moving to Charlotte County, building a successful plumbing business, and eventually passing the torch. He also shared his own journey into custom home building and what he’s learned along the way.
His message to the students was simple but powerful: show up, work hard, build relationships, learn a trade, and never underestimate where hard work can take you.
He talked about the incredible opportunities available in the skilled trades, the earning potential, and how the relationships and connections we make throughout our lives can truly help connect the dots.
Most importantly, he encouraged these young people to believe there are many different paths to a successful future.
Great kids, great questions, and hopefully a few future builders, tradespeople, and entrepreneurs walked away seeing a little more possibility for their future.
We’re proud to be part of our community and to invest in the next generation.

Yesterday our team had such a wonderful treat! Customers that we recently completed a home addition and remodel for invited us all over for a celebratory luncheon! The food was spectacular and their home looks fabulous!! It’s always so special when customers want show off their home after they are in and settled. We are so grateful to be part of helping people’s dreams become a reality. Thank you John & Kathleen Dailey Meneely for having us all yesterday and allowing us the opportunity to be your builder! 🏡❤️🥂 We wish you many wonderful years and memories in your home!
