25 buildings, all roofed with Premier SIPS. The team built roof sections on the ground, then lifted them into place.
After a wildfire devastated Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind in Napa, CA, the rebuild had to meet California’s Title 24 net-zero energy requirements and some of the region’s strictest fire codes, across 25 buildings from 960 SF to 6,700 SF.
The approach: stitch 10" EPS SIP roof panels together at ground level, then lift large sections into place. It saved tremendous labor and cut 3 to 4 weeks from the schedule, letting the camp get back to its mission much faster than anticipated.
SIP roofs also cut HVAC needs by roughly half, which let the team heat and cool with micro units. See the full project: https://hubs.ly/Q04B_YNM0
