Every business has a beginning, and ours started with hard work long before Conowingo Builders had a name.
Our owner, Steve Fisher, grew up on an Amish dairy farm, where early mornings and long days were simply part of life. Waking up at 4:30 AM to help milk cows and working in the fields behind a team of horses taught him lessons that still shape the way we build today: show up, do the work right, and take pride in what your hands create.
That same work ethic eventually led Steve into construction. From learning the craft at 18 to gaining experience in timber framing and project management, he found a passion for building structures that are strong, practical, and made to last.
In 2022, Conowingo Builders officially began. One project at a time, we started building garages, pole barns, horse barns, and custom wood structures with the same values Steve grew up with.
Today, Conowingo Builders has grown into a full-service construction company specializing in luxury horse barns, garages, barndominiums, and custom timber frame structures.
But even as the business has grown, the ❤️behind it has stayed the same.
