Nobody told the dogs the koi pond wasn’t a buffet!

Arizona water garden life hits different when the dogs decide it’s family dinner time and the koi have absolutely no say in the matter.

We strapped on the Meta glasses to get every angle of this chaos and honestly every single one is better than the last. The koi are unbothered. The dogs are committed. The water garden is surviving all of it.

Controlled chaos, and we mean it! 🚧

This pond build just hit a major milestone: we're digging 8 feet deep around the entire perimeter, with an extra foot added for the bottom suction. It's an ambitious design, and getting every detail right is what makes it work.

Meanwhile, the site is a hub of activity, one truck dropping off materials, another hauling dirt away, and a load of boulders staged and ready to go in. This is what really goes into building a custom water garden pond from the ground up.
