Your basement didn't flood on schedule.

A failed valve, a cracked pipe, a storm backing up the drain — however the water got in, it soaks into the wall and the floor and just sits there, feeding mold within a day or two.

So we open the wall where the water wicked up, get air movers running, and dry it down to the foundation. Then we check it with meters to make sure it's actually dry — not just dry-looking.
