This year we completed one of our biggest restoration projects to date . The R Buckley crew fully grinded and repointed this building on South st in Boston’s Chinatown district. Even though it is not listed in a historic district we took the time to match everything to its original appearance. Work included removing all mortar from the joints and replacing new, repairing and coating all brown stone headers and sills, caulking and sealing all windows and trims, replacing any broken or spalled bricks and painting all fire escapes. All masonry surfaces were sealed with Sure clean Siloxane PD .

Just winding down on this project at the Salvation Army Kroc center in Roxbury, Boston .
Here we were contracted to wash the entire exterior of the building.
This included ground face CMU , metal siding and Brick veneer.
Although the building is relatively new it still required a lot of washing.
We worked closely with our rep from Prosoco to decide which exact products would perform best while all the while protecting the masonry facade.
After all the grim, calcium buildup and efflorescence was removed we sealed all the masonry surfaces with a heavy duty water repellent/sealer.
