Lee Kennedy Company celebrated another exciting milestone yesterday with the Topping Off Ceremony for the Babson Executive Lodge and Conference Center, marking the placement of the project’s final steel beam.

The event was especially meaningful as attendees heard remarks from our CEO, Lee Michael Kennedy, who spoke about the significance of the building to the Babson community and expressed his gratitude to the many partners, tradespeople, and team members helping bring the vision to life.

Scheduled for completion in mid-2027, the facility will feature 70+ guest rooms, a restaurant and bar, a large banquet space, and high-quality classrooms and conference spaces that will provide transformative learning experiences for students and executives alike.

Assistant Superintendent Tiffany Li, a proud Quincy High School graduate, recently welcomed students from her alma mater to the Squantum Elementary School project site. Mr. Burke’s carpentry class had the opportunity to take part in an in-depth tour of the active job site, gaining firsthand insight into the construction process. Tiffany, alongside Superintendent Dave Donohue, guided the students through the project, sharing details about the progress of the work and explaining how the many moving parts of the project are coming together to bring the new school to life.
