Project update at Navarro College!

Progress continues to move forward as interior finishes remain underway, including drywall, paint, completion and inspection of MEP Rough-ins, and installation of the interior storefront glass. Terrazzo flooring is also scheduled to being soon. On the exterior, masonry work is set to begin in early July, featuring brick, cast-stone, and GFRC cornice installation.

We look forward to sharing more milestones as the project continues to take shape!

Last Monday we had the honor of celebrating with Grand Saline ISD (Official), their board members and community on the ground breaking of the New Grand Saline Middle School.

This new 75,000 SF two-story campus will feature 24 classrooms, an 11,000 SF gymnasium, an 8,700 SF auditorium, and a 3,000 SF band hall. The facility will also include administrative areas, science and computer labs, and collaborative learning spaces.

Designed with safety, accessibility, and innovation in mind, the school will provide students with a modern environment that supports academic growth, creativity, and community involvement.

The students of the Academy of Leadership & Technology at Mound in Burleson Independent School District are officially enjoying what might just be the best elementary gym in the district!

The staff and community members recently came together to celebrate the opening of this new 9,400 SF gymnasium, designed by Pfluger Architects not only as a dynamic space for student activity, but also as a fully functioning storm shelter.
One of the most exciting features? As the sun goes down, the Mound Mustang comes to life—illuminated on the side of the building as a point of pride for the school and a beacon for the community.

We officially broke ground with our architectural team, Glenn Partners, and Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District on their new Carrollton Elementary School! As part of the 2023 Bond Program, this replacement school will have modern safety and security features, a large open media center, a gym that doubles as a storm shelter, special education that is properly planned, play areas for younger and older students, and a protected learning courtyard. The school will serve approximately 750 students, grades PreK through 5th.

We're proud to have been part of the New CTE building for Texarkana Independent School District and honored to have attended the Grand Opening celebration!

This project was incredibly meaningful to us as it marked our first time working with Texarkana ISD. We're incredibly grateful for the opportunity and trust they placed in us.

Knowing it will help provide students with hands-on learning opportunities and prepare them for successful futures makes it even more rewarding. Seeing the finished space come to life and filled with excitement was truly special.

Tuesday marked an exciting milestone for Quitman Independent School District as we celebrated the groundbreaking of their 2025 Bond Projects!

This moment is especially meaningful to our team. Our company is proud to call Quitman home, with our corporate office based here and leadership made up of Quitman ISD alumni. Being entrusted to help bring these projects to life for our own community makes this work even more special.

We're honored to serve as the general contractor and look forward to building spaces that will support students, staff and the future of Quitman for years to come.

Exciting progress over at Elysian Fields ISD! Construction on the new Elementary school is moving forward with the building now fully dried-in and interior work underway, including drywall installation and upcoming painting in the gym. Exterior stone and veneer are nearing completion, and site work such as the rear parking lot concrete has begun.

Students are already benefiting from the new tennis courts, which were completed just in time for the start of the season, and the new field house is on track to turn over to the district in early Spring. Renovations across the district are also advancing, including updates to the Middle School and preparations for the High School gym demolition and upcoming renovation phases.

We're excited to see these improvements come to life for Elysian Fields ISD, with the new Elementary School and Phase 1 of the High School renovations scheduled for completion in August 2026 and full project completion in the Fall of 2027.

We are proud to support the incredible work of the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation and their mission to enrich opportunities for students and teachers across Lewisville ISD.

This past Saturday, our team had the honor of sponsoring the Dishing Up Dreams Gala, an inspiring event that brought the community together in support of local education. The event surpassed its $100,000 fundraising goal, a milestone that will directly benefit Lewisville ISD students and educators through innovative programs, classroom grants, and educational initiatives.
At Jackson Construction, we believe strong schools build strong communities, and we are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations like the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation that are making a meaningful difference.
