The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of tools and materials and be able to read blueprints and follow instructions. They should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. experience working with a variety of tools and materials and be able to read blueprints and follow instructions. They should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. Build and install structures such as partitions, walls, roofs, and decks, using various materials including wood, steel, and concrete.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, or hardware, such as locks, hinges, and handles.
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
Experience with drywall, tile work and Fencing.
Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and architects to ensure project success.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations.
Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of time and materials used.
Attend training sessions and workshops to stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.
