HVAC contractor told them that their system was "Amping out" whatever that means. It'll be$8000. To replace it. The system had been changed 5 years ago! last night the air conditioning was tripping the breaker, then it tripped the main and they had no power. I found the bad splice that the same HVAC contractor installed five years ago. Sheesh.

GFCI outlets are not required in bedrooms unless you are replacing a two prong outlet in a home that was originally wire...

GFCI outlets are not required in bedrooms unless you are replacing a two prong outlet in a home that was originally wired with an ungrounded wiring method. This particular home was grounded properly! So I installed a new tamper resistant duplex receptacle and left the GFCI with the home owner. Whomever tried to install it can use it where it should be installed.

Rigid metal conduit. It will still be there 50 years from now. Shiny.
