Throw back Thursday to this super challenging project. A friend created a stained glass top 36 inches around. They wanted it set into a coffee table. The challenge was to allow light through while keeping the table solid enough to hold the weight of the heavy glass top. The end result was not only a solid table but a table that cast a beautiful image onto the floor when it caught the natural light.
