Responsibilities include handling freight, installing elevators using defined process, working under the leadership of an experienced mechanic, and other items as necessary. To All of Our Customers and Friends,

R.E.A.L Elevator Solutions would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to all of you affected by Hurricane Florence.

As you all return home to clean up after Florence I would like to share a few instructions on returning your elevator to service.

First, please confirm there is no water or debris below the elevator prior to activating the unit. If there is water, be sure to remove all water & debris before returning the elevator to service. If you need help, please call us at 866-550-REAL or 919-420-7862 and we will schedule a technician to come and assist you. You can also email [email protected], if that is an easier method of communication. We have several team members who live in your area.

Once the water/debris is cleared, and power is restored to the home you will need to confirm the following:

· Breakers at main service panel are on
· Elevator disconnects are on
· Make sure all gates and doors are closed
· Make sure the STOP switch in the elevator is turned to the “ON” or “RUN” position

If everything is okay with your elevator, it should return to service at this point. If the elevator does not return to service or is not working properly please call us to schedule an appointment.

Hello Everyone,

As I am sure you are all aware, we are in for what looks to be a pretty big storm. It is best during this time to deactivate your elevator.
Please follow the below step by step instructions when shutting your unit down:

Take the elevator to the highest floor in your home
Activate the STOP switch
Open Sliding Gate

It is important to do all of these steps in order to insure that if there is a power outage the elevator does not go down to the ground floor.
If there is a power surge or outage and these instructions are not followed the elevator will return to the ground floor and could suffer water damage.
