The Adams-McKinney House Opens for on April 16!
Step inside a 1962 modernist landmark before its next chapter begins. Originally attributed to architects Macon Smith and F. Carter Williams, 2109 Coley Forest Place was for decades the home of Claude McKinney, the visionary Dean of responsible for the Centennial Campus master plan.
Now, as the home has passed from the McKinney family to new stewards Karl Amelchenko and Paige Gunther, a thoughtful 2027 renovation is underway with . On April 16th, join Preservation Raleigh for our annual Preservation Party — a rare invitation to experience this largely original mid-century masterpiece in its transition.
