Resurfacing was recently completed along Six Forks Road from Strickland Road to Lynn Road, as well as along Lynn Road from Six Forks Road to Lead Mine Road.

Last week, members of our team joined colleagues from across the Construction Partners family of companies in Atlanta for the 2026 Annual Conference.

Leaders from Operations, Safety, and Human Resources came together to share ideas, learn from one another, and build relationships that carry over into our everyday work.

Earlier this month, Fred Smith Company partnered with Scouting America to introduce heavy civil construction to the next generation.

We had the opportunity to welcome a group of young men and women to our equipment yard for a hands-on look at the work we do each day. From learning how roads are built to getting up close with the equipment and people behind it, their curiosity and enthusiasm made it a great experience for everyone involved.

We believe in investing in the future of our industry, and moments like this are a reminder of the impact we can make by simply opening our doors and sharing what we do.

We were honored to welcome Congressman Brad Knott to our Benson asphalt plant this morning.

During the visit, our team shared an inside look at how asphalt is produced, the materials and equipment involved, and how our industry works to build and maintain the infrastructure our communities rely on every day.
